Er war der Architekt eines starken Preußens, der Keimzelle des künftigen Deutschen Reiches. Heiner Lauterbach erzählt von seiner Familie, Freunden und Freizeit, von der Liebe und der Schauspielerei und den einhergehenden Ruhm, wenn man gut ist und Glück hat. Aber Heiner Lauterbach geht auch darauf ein, wie er sein Leben geändert hat und wie er z. B. den inneren Schweinehund bezwungen und eine Alkohol-Diät gemacht hat. Für Fans von Heiner Lauterbach sicher ein Buch mit schönen Einblicken, aber ansonsten schlägt man das Buch zu und vergisst schnell wieder das Gelesene. Der Autor liest selbst und man spürt die Freude am Vorlesen über das selbst erlebte.
